Ayesha Siddiqui gets QuestBridge scholarship

CHICAGO: Ayesha Siddiqui, an Indian American senior student at Lane Tech High School, Chicago, has won the prestigious QuestBridge scholarship among top 4 of CPS class of 2015.

Out of more than 1100 graduating high school students, four are selected for the QuestBridge scholarship awards for Class of 2015. Ayesha Siddiqui, Araceli Martinez, Paul Alves, John Jack from Lan Tech High school got the QuestBridge scholarship and admission in University of Chicago.

Ayesha was honored in an award ceremony for scholars held at Lane Tech High School auditorium in Chicago last week. Ayesha was also honored as Lane Tech Scholar, Illinois State Scholar and AP Scholar. Earlier this year, Ayesha was also included in National Honor Society.

Ayesha thanked her father A.Q. Siddiqui, a local journalist, mother Talath Siddiqui, a close Telugu family friend Ayloo Srikant and his wife Dr Amba for guidance and all moral support.
