CHICAGO: Bharatiya Senior Citizens of Chicago celebrated ‘Tulsi Vivah’ at Rana Regan Center in Carol Stream, a Chicago suburb on November 5, 2022. More than 500 members attended this ceremony.
The program began with Varghodo, Lagana Vidhi with live Lagna Gito sang by Nipa Shah and Sweta Kothari and her group.
‘Tulsi Vivah Krishna ( Lala) side Yajman were Bhupendrabhai & Jayaben Ranpariya while Tulsi side Yajman was Tejas and Krishna Shah The singers’ Nipa Shah and Sweta Kothari recited ‘Ganesh Stuti. BSC Vice President Bachubhai Paghadal and BSC Managing Trustee Parsotambhai Pandya welcomed all BSC members and invited guests They offered best wishes on Tulsi Vivah Parva to all including sponsors.
After that Hindu Priest Rohit Joshi and Thakor Bhatt performed step by step all Lagna Vidhi, During the Lagna Vidhi BSC member Shardaben Paghadal sang a ‘ Lili Lili Nandrayji Ni Wadiyu re emo khilya chhe…… Tulsi Vivah Geet. BSC Treasurer Madarsang Chavda and Jt. Treasurer Indubhai Vaghani and Damini Patel got donations for ‘Tulsi Vivah” During the ceremony Seth Lewis who is running for State Representative(R) District 45 introduced himself seeking voters to vote for him.
