A big crowd got together to listen to Rohitbhai Patel, BJP MLA of Anand, Gujarat. Rohitbhai discussed current Indian politics, Gujarat politics and Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision. Patel’s driving force for entering politics is contained in his mission statement, which says “you can serve the community (Samaj) better by being in the government rather than outside of the government”.

In his first year in government he implemented “Namo Garib Seva Rath”, which is special and personal to him. This is a project to help the poor and helpless in the remote villages of his consistency. He has helped fund this project by using his personal pay from the government. This project provides a dedicated staff to listen to the complaints of the villagers and help solve problems they face. If the staff is unable to resolve the issue, Patel personally gets involved to find a solution. His first priority is fighting corruption and helping the common person resolve issues regarding infrastructure such as building road.

Patel informed the audience that everyone could help support the BJP and PM Modi by creating awareness about voting and getting involved in the voting process. This will enable the party and Modi to continue to work to better India.
