Bollywood truly brings everyone under one umbrella and it is ubiquitous across the country as we celebrate Cheti Chand/ Gudi Padava/ Holi/ Nabo Barsho/ Puthandu/ Ugadi/ Vaisakhi. Bollywood competition is organized as an annual fundraiser to run the weekly Sunday programs such as Entrepreneurship bootcamp, Robotics, Coders Club, Hindi, Yoga, Bollywood fitness, that are offered for no charge to the larger Silicon Valley community.
Saratoga’s charismatic council member Rishi Kumar hosted the event with lot of enthusiasm. Rishi along with the organizing team, the contestants kept the audiences entertained. A few local kids were given the opportunity to anchor certain parts of the event. Food was catered by The Mynt Indian Restaurant in San Jose, and guests enjoyed delicious appetizers and dinner.

On stage she jumped with joy when she realized she had won the top solo spot. “Winning first place was a great surprise, specially since everyone’s performance always great. I was delighted to see the great energy and enthusiasm, and that gave me a great push to do my best. And the cash prize was definitely an icing on cake.
