It is confirmed now. Imran Khan and Avantika Malik are expecting their first child. And as the couple braces to welcome a new member in the family, the beaming dad-to-be said, “I’m really excited about this. I think I’m more excited than Avantika is. I’m also more ready than she is. Don’t tell her I said that!” He added that the baby is expected in June.
When asked if he has come up with a name for the baby, the actor was quoted as saying: “I’m hoping for a girl, she’s hoping for a boy. As you can imagine, there are lots of arguments about the names… Haven’t locked anything yet, but there’s time.”
He is taking it slow and not reading up on parenting while Avantika has “downloaded an app that gives her daily info and tips”.
Imran wants the baby to have certain qualities of his wife: “her love for life, her warmth, and her ability to make people feel comfortable around her.”
