Chandrachur turns singer for Yadvi

Chandrachur Singh1The 90’s chocolate hero  has also made a mark with serious roles. He has worked in memorable films like Maachis, Tere Mere Sapne, Josh and so on. The 1996 Filmfare Award winner for Best Debut for Maachis has now made his singing debut with the song, “Rangreeza” in the film Yadvi-The dignified Princess. Accompanying him in the song is Pawani Panday of “Laila Main Laila” song fame.

Chandrachur is playing the character of Maharaja Bhupinder Singh of Patiala. One of the wealthiest and famous Maharajas of India, he was the first to own an airplane in India, and donated Ranji Trophy for cricketers which is still current today.

Music is composed by Anuj Garg and penned by Nasir Faraz.

The film releases in Manhattan, New York and Beverly Hills, California. It is directed by New York based actress Jyoti Singh with a script based on a real life story/screenplay by Gauri Singh, her sister.

Chandrachur is a trained classical singer and his passion is singing. Notably, before being cast for “Tere Mere Sapne”, he was teaching music in Doon school, Dehra Dun
