Feeling eternally grateful for Hindus, Jains, Sikhs and Buddhists, lighting the lamp—The Diya—is a chance to remember, even in the midst of darkness, that light will ultimately prevail. Knowledge will defeat ignorance, and compassion will triumph over despair.
Diwali is also a reminder that we must each do our part to achieve that victory, by dedicating ourselves to service to others as SERVICE is the real path to real significance. As we affirm our commitments to one another and strive to lift each other up, then together, we will continue moving closer to that brighter future we all seek FULL of fun, prosperity and success.
This Hindu festive season of Ganpati, Navratri & Diwali, our family renewed our pledge to donate our two organs, Kidney and a part of our liver. We regularly donate blood and platelets and signed up on the bone marrow registry to live a more fulfilling life as an Exemplar of rectitude. Our lives have been filled with a series of remarkable experiences that have truly and positively impacted us.
Wherever we are on our respective paths, we all know life is a journey, a blessing and along the way we are blessed with meeting and encountering those who leave a positive and profound impact on us. We will continue to work hard, doing our best every single day. And probably and more than likely, not done and spread goodness if not for being in America, in Hospitality.
