Beyond his medical achievements, Dr. Japra’s contributions to the community have had a global impact. He founded the Fremont Hindu Temple and Cultural Center in 1983, serving as Chairman for four decades, providing a vital platform for cultural expression and religious practices.
In 1993, Dr. Japra established the Festival of Globe (FOG) annual India Day Parade and Festival, which has grown into a grand celebration with over 100,000 participants. FOG aims to foster integration and celebrate diversity, attracting individuals from various ethnic backgrounds and nations.
