Fremont, CA: A grand and devotional Bhagwat Pothi Yatra was successfully organized on Sunday, May 17th, at the Fremont Hindu Temple as part of the Vishesh Purushottam Mas. The event began with a grand procession where devotees carried 108 sacred Kalash with devotion amidst spiritual chants and bhajan. The auspicious ceremony was followed by Ganesh puja and, Kalash Sthapana, which were performed with Vedic rituals.
Thereafter, the sacred Shrimad Bhagwat Katha Aarambh began in a devotional atmosphere filled with faith and enthusiasm.
During the Bhagwat Katha program, devotees sponsored Mahaprasad and food as an offering of seva and devotion. Furthermore, many volunteers have generously dedicated their time to assist with food preparation. Fremont Hindu Temple priests Pt. Kalyan Sharma ji, Pt. Kumarswami ji, Pt. Ajay Prasanna ji, Pt. Rupendrta ji, participated in this program. Pt. Kunj Chaturvedi ji has taken the lead to give discourse in the month long Bhagwat Katha, which started on Sunday, May 17 and ending on Sunday, June 14, 2026.
Temple Co-Chair Mr. Rajesh Verma ji, President Mr. Govind Pasumarthi ji and religious chair Mr. Rajesh Gupta ji, along with Trustees Chandru and Sajni Bhambhra, Dhaval and Minali Brahmbhatt, and a large number of devotees attended the event and extended their blessings and support for the successful conduct of the spiritual celebrations.
