Grand Celebration of Annual event by Indian Seniors of Chicago

CHICAGO: A group of seniors from the Indian community called ‘Indian Seniors of Chicago’ held a meet at Manav Seva Mandir in Bensenville Chicago On December 9, 2023 to celebrate the annual event.

Leaders of Gujarati society Chhotalal Patel, Dr. Bharat Barai, Dahyabhai Prajapati, Rajubhai Chauhan, Bhailal Patel, Dr. BhagvanjiMeghpara, Ramanbhai Patel along with  more than four hundred members were present  at the meeet.

Indian Seniors of ChicagoHirabhai Patel, Secretary of the group welcomed the guests and members in the opening of ceremony and gave detailed information about the ‘Indian Seniors of Chicago’ group. Emcees of the program Bhupendra Suthar and Panna Shah came on stage and requested  special guest dignitaries to come on stage for Deep Pragatya which was complemented with chants sung by Rohitbhai Joshi.

Executive members of the group and president of the group Narsinhbhai Patel honored the guests with flowers. Dr. Bharat Barai presented his ideas for public awareness in his speech.

Bhupendra Suthar and Panna Shah requested Saregam Musical Group to start today’s musical feast. A feast of solo and duet songs delighted the entire audience. In the intermission, the sponsors of the program were requested by Dilip Patel to come on stage and felicitated them with gifts and roses. Jayanti Oza and Jagurti Patel were also felicitated with gifts and roses for distinguished services.

Indian Seniors of ChicagoAfter this the Executive Committee members of Indian Seniors of Chicago and  Chief Guest Chhotalal Patel were called on stage for a photo. Chhotalal addressed the guests. Prof. Navinbhai Patel, an active member of the Executive Committee, thanked everyone. Chittaranjan Desai and Hasumati Patel felicitated the members of the musical group with gifts and roses and thanked them.

During  the second part of the program, singers and musicians put on a colorful show. The members danced to the rhythm of the music wearing crowns of LED lights on their heads. At the end there was a lot of cheer with patriotic songs and flag of India.

The Group President Narsinhbhai Patel thanked all the members for making the annual program a success. Music entertainment provided by ‘Saregam and Nupur Sound group presented a combination of new and old Bollywood melodies.
