CHICAGO: Armed with an admirable academic background and possessing a hefty all round banking experience, Susan Kim, the Regional President and Executive Vice President Hanmi Bank Illinois & Eastern, is set to take Hanmi bank to a new high, making it a really community caring bank supporting businesses and serving individual needs

One of the branches that Susan is looking after is one near Devon Avenue, the heart of Indian Pakistani communities, often described as Mini India Town of Chicago. She mentioned that Hanmi Bank has already earmarked a percentage of market share in Indian-Pakistani businesses and is set to expand vigorously in this area servicing in a professional manner fitting their needs.

Susan Kim has 20 plus years of experience in retail and commercial banking where she was responsible for the Division’s strategy, business development and management of retail and commercial banking.

She held various positions of increasing responsibility during her banking tenure. Ms Kim earned her B.A degree in English Literature from the University of California-Irvine and attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s Graduate School of Banking.

Hanmi Bank, serving multi-ethnic communities headquartered in California was founded in 1982. It encompasses market share nationwide with forty-two branches and six loan production offices covering California, Texas, Illinois, Virginia, New Jersey, New York, Colorado, Washington and Georgia.
