CHICAGO: It was the birthday celebration of Mrs. Hema Shastri president of Dev Darshan Senior Center –On Oct 28, 2023, at Naren Patel Auditorium Medstar Laboratory in Hillside, a Chicago suburb.
Dr Vijay Prabhakar of the GSA Global Eye @ 75 Expo USA along with the audience present for the Innovations Symposium 2023 – Nurturing Progress and Potential, celebrated honoring her as well for being an unsung hero in our Indian community for her 27 yrs of contribution and services to senior citizens. An honorary silk shawl from south India was presented to Mrs. Hema Shastri as well as a plaque recognizing her services in our community.
Present amongst the audience and panel were Mr. Hitesh Makwana, Mayor of Gandhinagar, Gujarat & K.P. Jethva (GAS) Dy. Municipal Commissioner of Gandhinagar, Gujarat. It was a great honor for Ms Shastri.
