CHICAGO: More then 250 Bhartiya Senior Citizens (BSC) members enjoyed Hindi Play ‘Udan Khatola’ performed by Mandi Theater Group at Rana-Regan on Saturday April 18 at Community Center in Carol Stream, a northwest suburb of Chicago.
The program started with Ganesh Vandana sung by BSC secretary Rakshika Anjaria. Vice President Purshotam Pandya, Executive Committee members Damini Patel and Pratima Shah extended welcome to the Mandi Theater Group artists Alka Sharma, Rachita Trehan and Mohan Rawat.
It was comedy play and the theme was about one middle class couple dearly yearning to buy ‘Udan Khatola’ to fulfill their life. All senior members enjoyed the 45 minute play.
Hanmi Bank of Carol steam branch’s Vice President Eve Pool and Bank’s associate Sangita Patel gave information regarding this newly opened bank and distributed gifts to all senior citizen members. AARP’s Akhilesh Gupta gave information about seniors driving safety program. Air Tour, a prominent tour operator in Chicagoland, gave information about South Africa and Bahamas cruise tour organized for Bhartiya senior citizens for August 2015.
The President of BSC Haribhai Patel thanked each and every one for the successes of this program. All seniors enjoyed Kathiwadi dinner at the end of this program.
