Indian Art and Culture Association presents “Krishna Leela – a grand dance musical” in the San Francisco, Bay Area

HAYWARD, CALIFORNIA: The Indian Art and Culture Association (IACA) successfully presented “KRISHNA LEELA – A Dance Musical,” a spectacular celebration of Indian classical dance, music, culture, and the timeless story of Lord Krishna at the Hayward Unified School District Performing Arts Center.

The production was conceived and mentored by renowned Bharatanatyam Guru and choreographer Sri Madurai R. Muralidharan. The musical brought together around 90 talented Bay Area artists, who portrayed the life and divine stories of Lord Krishna through vibrant choreography, expressive storytelling, colorful costumes, and music.

The event was honored by the presence of distinguished community leaders and dignitaries.

Chief Guest – Dr. Romesh Japra ji, Founder and Convener of the Festival of Globe (FOG), graced the occasion and recognized the importance of preserving and promoting Indian arts and culture among younger generations in the United States.

Anandji, Founder of Aria University and Silicon Andhra, was also a distinguished guest at the celebration. His presence highlighted the importance of community institutions in providing opportunities for young people to stay connected with India’s rich artistic and cultural heritage.

One of the highlights of Krishna Leela was the participation of local dancers and artists of different age groups, providing them with an opportunity to perform in a major theatrical production under the guidance of an internationally respected Guru.

The Indian Art and Culture Association expressed its sincere gratitude to Guru Madurai R. Muralidharan, the participating artists, dance teachers, parents, volunteers, sponsors, community leaders, dignitaries, and audiences whose support made Krishna Leela a memorable success.

IACA remains committed to creating platforms that connect generations through Indian performing arts, music, dance, cultural education, and community engagement.
