ARTESIA, CALI: The Indian Christian Day / Yeshu Bhakti Divas celebration was a great success! Everyone was excited about the program, and we were blessed by the wonderful participation and fellowship.
Eight churches joined the celebration, with approximately 120 people in attendance from diverse backgrounds. Telugu, Malayalee, Tamil, Hindi, Punjabi, and Hawaiian communities were represented, reflecting the unity and diversity of the Indian Christian community.
We were honored to have two international speakers with us. Keynote speaker Dr. Solomon Darwin shared about his Indian Christian heritage and his pioneering work in developing the Smart Villages movement in India. Dr. Rabhi Maharaj shared a powerful message about how Jesus Christ brings equality and unity among people.
The special singing and dance choreography by the IPC youth were greatly appreciated. The Veena performance was also beautifully presented and warmly received.
The U.S. and Indian national anthems were sung simultaneously, celebrating our heritage and our home. We also had the privilege of felicitating influential individuals who have made significant contributions to the Indian diaspora.
The program concluded with a benediction by Pastor Nunna of TCF SoCal. Following the program, a delicious Indian dinner was served, and everyone enjoyed a wonderful time of fellowship and friendship.
The evening concluded with a group photograph, capturing a memorable moment of unity among the participating churches and communities. We thank God for His blessings and for bringing together so many churches, leaders, families, and friends to celebrate Indian Christian heritage, faith, service, and unity.
