NORWALK, CA: On Saturday, June 1, 2024, Indo-American Senior Heritage (IASH), in collaboration with The Guajratis of North America (GONA Organization), proudly honored Mahesh and Usha Wadher of The Wadher Family Foundation with the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award. The event at the Sanatan Dharma Temple Hall recognized their outstanding philanthropic contributions to global humanitarian efforts.
Over 550 guests attended the ceremony, including numerous dignitaries such as Manubhai and Rikaben Shah, Suru and Arti Manek, Chatur and Kanak Patel, Nalini Solanki, Pramod and Kiran Mistry, Ramesh and Prafula Shah, Dolly and Jay Oza, Ghanshyamsinh and Gaytri Ba Zala, Drs. Jaswant and Meera Modi, Dr. Anil Shah, Naresh Solanki, Dr. Jaggi and Harsha Patel and, Shashi and Renuka Jogani.
Mahesh & Usha Wadher were accompanied by their daughter Amisha Kapadia and granddaughter Amira Kapadia, who delivered a heartfelt speech about her grandfather. Their son, Sujay Wadher, along with his wife Margarita and their children Maya and Zen also attended. Sujay gave a beautiful speech in honor of his father.
The City of Cerritos Mayor, Naresh Solanki, presented a proclamation recognizing Mahesh and Usha Wadher for their lifelong dedication to humanitarian causes. Manubhai and Rikaben Shah delivered a moving speech, and Dr. Nitin Shah gave a touching presentation on the past, present, and future contributions of Mahesh and Usha Wadher.
The event featured Sanjay Garodia’s entertaining drama “Be Adhi Khichdi Kadhi,” followed by a delicious dinner enjoyed by all attendees. The evening was a resounding success, filled with joy and celebration, highlighting the Wadher family’s enduring legacy of service to humanity.
