SAN JOSE: Kick Off party for the upcoming mega comedy show Comedy with Kapil was recently held at the M-Lounge in downtown San Jose.
Kapil Sharma is an Indian stand-up comedian, actor, TV anchor and singer. He is ranked 33rd on the Forbes India Celebrity list 2014. Currently he is hosting the super hit Indian comedy show
Comedy Nights with Kapil (CWK) on Colors TV Channel where he interviews celebrity guests.
Kapil Sharma along with his onscreen family from the show, comprising Sumona Chakravarti, Sunil Grover, Kiku Sharda, Upasana Singh and Ali Sagar will be on six city tour of North America and Canada in July/August. The show is called Comedy with Kapil and Family and is promoted nationally by Prria Haider Productions in association with Sai USA Inc.

The Kick Off party saw attendance by who’s who of Bay Area Indian community. Dr Romesh Japra, Chairman of The Federation of Indo Americans of Northern California (FIA) said “Our federation fully supports such shows which promote Indian performing arts”.
“Comedy With Kapil and Family will be held at the SAP- Center, San Jose on 1st August at 7:30 PM PST.
“The show will take place at the SAP Center as we wanted a central location for Bay Area residents. We have released tickets online in addition to local grocery stores,” said Ricky Singh, Co-presenter of Comedy with Kapil show.
