CHICAGO: Sahil and Bhavesh Patel may soon become a synonym for organizing unique and memorable fashion shows in Chicagoland. The one held on Saturday, October 13 at Rosemont Convention Center was a class by itself and has turned out to be an affair to remember.
The theme of the Fashion Show was Moghul Royalty and it had rare collections depicting the Mogul era dresses for brides and bridegrooms. The royal fashion show produced by Sahil featuring the Royal Bride Collection by Umang Hutheesing, was a part of the fundraiser that Hamdard Center for Health and Human Services had organized for its various humanitarian activities primarily in the area of health and medicine. It was a celebration of two decades of existence and it was emceed by none other than Comedian Khaleel Farooqui who excelled in his depiction of fashion show themes, artists and participants.
The evening was also highlighted with wonderful, live music from Singer Amanat Ali, and an extremely entertaining live auction presented by Michael Espe of Zaffarano Auctioneers.
For 200 years a single family has dominated India known to history as The Great Moghuls. Sahil Exclusive presented “Moghul Royalty” – an evening to come and join their royal court, view the elegant styles and experience Moghul Royalty. Sahil presented two unique collections; a 2013 collection designed exclusively for Sahil by Shefali Hedge and feature collection by Umang Hutheesing. The theme fashion show was of Jaipur, Rajasthan.
