Kareena Kapoor has decided that she won’t have kids with husband and actor Saif Ali Khan. She is a modern woman and doesn’t believe that children are essential after marriage. Bebo is happy playing the role of a wife and step-mother of Saif’s two children, Sara and Ibrahim.
In an interview to a fashion and lifestyle magazine, the actress revealed that she might not have kids at all with husband Saif. “Earlier it was when are they going to get married? Now everyone wants to know when is she having a baby? Who knows, I might even decide not to have kids. I am just 32. And Saif already has two kids. We are not a typical Indian couple who get married just so they can have a child. We are modern.”
Kareena is quite friendly with Saif’s two children, Sara and Ibrahim. She sees Sara and Ibrahim as her own children and is not eager to have her own biological child as she doesn’t believe in this social system.
According to the inheritance law, if someday Kareena has children with Saif then her children won’t be able to inherit Saif’s property given the fact that Kareena chose not to convert to Islam before marrying Saif. So, it might be one of the reasons for not having her own child.
