LOS ANGELES, CA: A meeting was arranged at the home of Archana and Gopal Chaturvedi, in the city of Diamond Bar, California, to hear the visiting BJP Treasurer Piyush Goyal.
Gopal Chaturvedi introduced Piyush Goyal’s distinguished education and his political responsibilities in the BJP party for the last 20 plus years.
Piyush Goyal talked of his parents’ involvement in RSS and earlier in Jan Sangh and as BJP party leaders in Mumbai and then in India.
Goyal impressed the OFBJP local and national committee members and community leaders present with his knowledge of the party’s, people friendly, all inclusive development agenda. He described the Vajpayee Government’s achievements, and public service agenda of the present BJP Chief Ministers in Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Chhatisgarh and Goa and BJP ministers in coalition governments in Bihar, Punjab, etc. “Lives of millions of Indians in these states are being uplifted daily,” he said.
If a BJP Government is formed at the center after 2014 parliamentary elections, it will have experienced leadership, vision, commitment and it will take India’s development to surpass the development of China,
On behalf of OFBJP, Harish Dhruv thanked Piyush Goyal for accepting the invitation from the organization.
Goyal promised to revisit Los Angeles in few months time for the Grand Banquet of 1000+BJP supporters, an event being organized “by invitation only.”
