“We thought it was time. I moved to Fremont from Afghanistan when I was 9 years old. I attended the American high school on Fremont Blvd. I always wanted a branch here. We always intended to go into the vibrant and multicultural Fremont,” said President and CEO Khalid Acheckzai. “We are very excited to open a new branch in Fremont as we continue our strategic initiative of opening branches throughout California,” he added in a statement.
