Raisins have the abundance of iron and vitamin C that contribute to hair health and growth. Often, hair loss is attributed to an iron deficiency, and incorporating more iron in your diet is crucial to preventing hair fall. Raisins, with their high iron content, assist in red blood cell production, improving oxygen and nutrient circulation throughout the body, including your scalp, and promoting hair growth.

Raisins have high antioxidant content including resveratrol that acts as a defense against the harmful effects of free radicals that can cause hair damage, hair thinning, aging, and even greying. Resveratrol also increases hair growth and overall appearance. 1) Boil two parts water,
2) Add one part raisins,

5) Discard the raisins,
6) Drink the water.

The drink is a light golden brown color and has a nice natural sweetness to it.

How to use raisins in natural hair care?
One of the easiest ways to use raisins in natural hair care is to make a hair mask. Simply soak a handful of raisins in water overnight, and then grind them into a paste. Apply the paste to your hair, covering it completely, and let it sit for 30 minutes to an hour. Rinse the paste out of your hair with warm water, and then shampoo and condition your hair as usual.

You can also use raisins as a natural conditioner. Simply soak a handful of raisins in water for an hour, then strain out the water and mix it with coconut oil. Apply the mixture to your entire hair and let it sit for a few minutes and then massage it into your scalp and hair. What are the 4 stages of the hair growth cycle

During this phase, hair grows around half an inch a month [about six inches a year], and faster in the summer than in winter. This phase lasts an average of three to five years.

2) Catagen Phase: Catagen Phase signals the end of active hair growth and cuts individual hairs off from the blood supply and from the cells that produce new hair. Approximately three percent of all hairs are in this stage at any time and it lasts for around 10 days.

3) Telogen Phase: This Phase is a resting period when strands remain in their follicles but are not actively growing. An estimate of 10-15 percent of your hairs is in the Telogen Phase at any given moment. The Telogen Phase lasts around three months or 100 days.

4) Exogen Phase: During this final stage of the hair growth cycle, when individual hair strands are released from their follicles and fall out. Then the whole process begins again.
