WASHINGTON: DC  In a bid to follow up the meetings with the US President Joe Biden in Tulsa Oklahoma, Indian community activists Dr Vijay Prabhakar and Dr Mrs Santosh Kumar, sought a meeting with President in Washington DC and they could get one.The duo after a lot of security checks had a one-to-one meeting with President Joe Biden who again assured the US support for the supply of Corona vaccine to India. He also assured to look  into the supply of essential raw material for the manufacture of vaccine

Dr Ms Santosh Kumar in a talk with this paper said that they returned happy after these assurances and hoped that their efforts will help relieve the Corona  crisis in India

PS:President Biden fulfills the request of Rev. Jackson Sr to remove the Defense Production Act Ratings on 3 U. S. Vaccine manufacturers to ease the supply of raw materials to vaccine manufacturers in India. “Thank you Rev. Jesse Jackson again to coming to India’s aid.”, observed Dr Vijay and Dr Santosh Kumar.

Rev Jackson Sr. presented a request letter to President Biden calling for immediate supply of vaccines to India.

  1. The President commended Reverend Jackson for his humanitarian efforts in making a clarion call to send to the world community to send aid & assistance to India

  3. President Biden assured Rev Jackson Sr Dr Vijay Prabhakar and Dr Ms Kumar that he would look at opening up opportunities for private entities to purchase and distribute vaccines & medical equipment to India.
  4. President Biden reassured Dr Vijay Prabhakar Dr Mrs Santosh Kumar, National Chair of American Multi-Ethnic Coalition that vaccines to India  will be supplied in June as part of the US Strategy for Global Vaccine Sharing.
  5. Rev . Jesse Jackson Sr . thanked President Biden for his Commitment to support India during this most unprecedented humanitarian crisis in spite of being busy withgeopolitics.
  6. Dr . Vijay Prabhakar informed President Biden about U. S. Congressman Danny Davis initial initiative on May 2 that kick started this process with Indian American Community leaders coming together that triggered Rev. Jesse Jackson Sr to host Country wide Press Meets in Chicago, Atlanta and Washington D.C. to highlight the urgent need to help India.
