ST LOUIS: Hindu Temple of St. Louis celebrated Samuhika Varalakshmi Vratham. Over 80 devotees took part in in the pooja with Lakshmi idol and performed Vratham.
On August 1, Yajurveda upakarma was observed early in the morning. A number of devotees performed the thread changing ceremony.
On August 9, the temple celebrated the birth of Sri Krishna for which elaborate arrangements were made. Temple opened all day and until midnight to mark the celebration of Sri Krishna’s birth. Bhajans were performed until midnight.
Hindu Temple will be celebrating Shri Ganesh Chaturthi on 19th Sept, 5 pm and will be holding annual fund raising dinner on 29th Sept, 6 pm.
