CHICAGO: Bhartiya Senior Citizens (BSC) of Chicago celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi at Shri Nathji Haveli, Addison, a north side suburb of Chicago on September 21.
Over 200 members, invitees and guests attended the event. BSC Secretary Purshottam Pandya welcomed all those present while Joint Secretary Rakshika Anjaria briefed about the significance of the program
BSC President Haribhai Patel accorded welcome to Kunal Vyas, Director of Marketing, Dr Purvi Pardiwala, Physical Therapist and Bhavin Dave, Managing Director of Wellocity Physical Therapy & Rehab.
Committee member Ramsingh Parmar welcomed Vimal Patel, Pharm D. from Walgreens. Celebration began with Ganesh Vandana and Ganesh Chaturthi information by BSC Member Hemangini Bhatt. Carried away by joyous spiritual theme and atmosphere of Ganesh Chathurthi Mahotsav, many members started dancing.
All BSC members viewed a video clip of Gujarat Chief Minister and PM candidate Narendra Modi’s birthday celebrations in Gujarat. BSC Chairman Batukbhai Shukla gave information about planned Navratri 2013 celebrations by BSC group.
