CHICAGO: Shreejidwar Haveli established by Vaishnav Samaj of Midwest (VSM) in Addison, celebrated its Bhoomi Pujan Ceremony and Golden Jubilee of JJ Dwarkeshprasdji with blessings of Goswami 108 Shri Indira Betiji Mahodaya on Friday July 18 in a grand manner.
There were unique Darshans of Lord Shrinathji Hindola made of fresh vegetables under Pushti Pranali. The function began with Aarti and wishing Happy Birthday on Golden Jubilee of Dwarkeshlalji Maharajshri in the presence of Indira Betiji Mahodaya.
Dwarkeshlalji Maharajshri in his address touched upon the principles laid down by Vallabhacharyaji and advised all to follow them scrupulously which will enrich everyone’s life. A number of devotees were present at the event which led to Bhumi Pujan for the upcoming New Nandalaya Project.
Goswami 108 Shri Indira Betiji Mahodaya in her beautiful address observed that Bhoomi is the Hindu goddess Mother Earth and hence, before the start of construction, usually a Bhoomi Pooja is performed. It also is to ask forgiveness for the disruption of the many living beings already on and in the land.
Dr Umang Patel described this event on eve of Sixth Patotsav to be a history in books of Shrijidwar with rare chance to celebrate it with the Golden Jubilee of JJ Dwarkeshprasdji and blessings of Goswami 108 Shri Indira Betiji Mahodaya
Dr Patel presented Dr Mahendra Shah – who has published ‘Mahabaharta in two parts – with verses described in Sanskrit, English, Gujarati, Hindi and Marathi. Dinner was served after Darshan.
There was an entertainment program of classical bhajans held by Pt. Rattanlal Sharma. He sang various Bhajans like: ‘Aaj to Anand Anand’ Shri Krishna, Nand Yashoda ke Ghar Anand, Yashoda Krishna Mangal Gave’ and many more.
More than 1,000 devotees from Chicago land and Midwest participated in the event. Youth had become the volunteers and shouldered the responsibilities of event planning, parking, food, darshan management, etc. Devotees praised the excellent management of every activity.
Shreeji Dwar Vaishnav Samaj of Midwest seeks to promote the teachings of Srinathji. It is led by by Dr Umang Patel (President), Rajesh Shah (Chairman), Kamlesh Shah (Secretary), and Hansaben Patel (Vice President) with a hard working volunteer team.
