CHICAGO: Hari Om Mandir in Medinah, northwest suburb of Chicago , celebrated the Sthapna of Vishal 20 feet one piece white makrana stone Hanuman ji Murti (tallest in the world) with great fervor and gaiety on Tuesday, August, 27.

With everyone chanting Hanuman Chalissa continuously, Shiromani Bhagat Shri Hanuman Ji was up from laying position to standing position and on Kesari aasan laid on the ground for Puja and Havan.

Shastri Yogesh Pandya and Pt Dinesh Kumar conducted the puja and havan with great devotion. Everyone was overjoyed to see Shiromani Bhagat Shri Hanuman Ji “sakshat” in front. Puja was followed by speeches. Chairman Ayodhia welcomed all those participants and the Chief Guest of the day Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa, MLA-Halka Dera Baba Nanak, Fatehgarh Churia, Punjab with a Siropa. Randhawa came to USA on a very short notice to witness this historic day. Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa in his address thanked Hari Om Mandir management for inviting him on such an auspicious occasion.

He said there was a flood situation in his native area and as soon as he got this invitation and decided to come here in USA the flood ended. He believes that it’s all because of Sankat Mochan Hanuman Ji.

Randhawa gave siropa to Bhajan Singh Bagri, Surinder Kalsi, Harpreet Kalsi, Ravi Sharma and Yogesh Sharma to recognize their work. Thanking all, President Brij Sharma said that the engineers and the Mandir expert’s team would begin lifting Shiromani Bhagat Shri Hanuman Ji to place him on the final installation point on the center of the Lotus base.

Another breathtaking moment – everyone chanted Hanuman Ashtak (Sankat mochan) until Shiromani Bhagat Shri Hanuman Ji finally took his place on the Lotus base. He thanked all the expert team members and Moorti makers – Ravi and Yogesh Sharma – from India, Jaipur Moorti Museum and all the volunteers who worked hard to make this day successful.

Finally Shiromani Bhagat Shri Hanuman Ji is standing upright in the premises of Hari Om Mandir and blessing everyone. The HOM management announced Grand Celebration and invited all the devotees from USA and around the world from 14 to 20 October.

Hari Om Mandir conducts every Sunday a Havan and general congregation followed by Aarti and Bhojan Prasad. On every first Saturday of the month, it has Devi Jagran from 7 to 10pm. Every Monday there is Shiv Puja and every Tuesday, there is Hanuman Challisa Path.
