SANTA CLARA: An excellent First Anniversary of Shiv Durga Temple at 3550 Flora Vista Avenue, Santa Clara was celebrated on Sunday 1 December by Acharya Pandit Krishna Pandey, Founder and President of the temple, with the support of his team at the temple. The occasion received overwhelming response from the community, community leaders and prominent personalities alongwith around 700 devotees.
Among those present were Ash Kalra, Milpitas Mayor, San Jose Council Member, Mr David, Ex Mayor and current Council Member of the city of Sunnyvale, Narendra Pathak, Commissioner of City of Sunnyvale , Vilas Thuse, Praveen Suggala CEO of Radio Zindagi, Yogi Mahendra Lohmor, Ajay Jain Bhutoria, Ramesh Aanand Mishra, Ranna Patel Unthank, Shail Jain, Manohar Bijor, Dr Raameshwar Singh and Dr Shiv Singh.
The program started with Atma Suddhi Pranayam Yoga by Mahendra Yogi and then Ganpati Abhishekam, Sarva Devata and Devi Pujan and Havan. There was Satsang by Acharya Ji, Bhajan and Keertan by Vikash Ji, Vinesh Ji, Vishek Ji and Mahima Shukla. Bharat Natyam was performed by Anitha Addagade Ji. After Maha Mangal Aarti, Preeti Bhoj was served which was sponsored by Jagender Ji, Aruna Ji and Patrick Ji.
Mr Jose S Esteves, Mayor of City of Milpitas, has presented a recognition certificate to the temple for spiritual and religious services to the community. Prominent personalities addressed the devotees and Ajay Jain Bhutoria asked the community to come forward for support to the temple. It is a unique temple of Shiva Durga which is dedicated to the world famous Vaishno Devi Temple in Jammu and Kashmir State in India where Acharya Ji served the temple during his 18 years Indian Army service. Concluding, Acharya Ji, Sunil Khanna, Rajesh Goyal and Pradeep Parmar thanked the devotees.
Acharya Ji’s vision is to provide all kind of religious and spiritual service to the community and maintain the valuable Indian tradition of involving the coming generation and getting support from community for senior citizens to enjoy their life.
