CHICAGO: Vasant Panchami was celebrated at Metropolitan Asian Family Services (MAFS) center at Carol Stream in Chicagoland.
The auspicious day of Vasant Panchami It is a Hindu festival of Saraswati Puja and it and was celebrated joyously with great reverence by senior elderly reading the significance of Goddess Sarswati, worshiping and offering flowers, rice to honor the Goddess of wisdom and knowledge, singing Bhajans along with reciting an inspirational “Arti” glorifying Ma Saraswati
All these made the wonderful event memorable.
The event was attended by scores of MAFS supporters and enthusiasts from Chicagoland. It was a grand success.
