FREMONT, CA: Association of Rajasthanis in America (ARA), SFO Bay Area CA, organized a walk & hike event at Coyote Hills Park in Fremont California. Mayor of Milpitas Jose Esteves joined the event on June 1. It was attended by over 100 people.
Participants enjoyed the event with five miles walk around the Coyote Hills Park. This gave an opportunity for community members to come together and discuss cultural activities.
SFOARA espouses the cause of betterment of village life in Rajasthan and its key goals are to help with the water shortage in Rajasthan, health fairs to promote the health and welfare of Rajasthanis and new annual events to strengthen the union of the community of Rajasthanis in SFO Bay Area of California. The organization organizes Holi, Walk & Hike event, annual picnic, art & craft classes and Diwali as their major events.
