CHICAGO: One of the largest seniors associations, United Seniors Pariwar, Chicago hosted its 10th year of services to the seniors on July 21 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Morton Grove.
The prime objective of the Pariwar is to bring out and activate members’ hidden talents in literature, music/jokes/power etc. by providing them with a platform.
The senior group that started in Des Plaines by Dr Narsinhbhai Patel inspired many such senior groups, but it is nice to see the progress by all to provide happiness to the retired community. Some of these retired/seniors showed their hidden and new talents to perform by entertaining the audience through their stage performances.
The program attracted a number of members as well as their guests with 300 plus people being present. All of them were treated with nice food. The sound system was excellent too.
Besides seniors, well-known local artists Atul Soni, Suresh Rami and group performed and contributed to the success of the three hours of the program. The Chief Guest was Narsinhbhai M Patel, President, Indian Seniors of Chicago. Ramanlal A Patel, President of United Senior Pariwar hosted the event. The welcome address was done by Rameshbhai Choksi.
