Americans4Hindus extends heartfelt congratulations to President-Elect Donald Trump on his successful election victory. We commend his vision and commitment to “Make America Great Again,” as well as his promise to advance peace on a global scale by addressing and reducing terrorism. We look forward to working collaboratively with President Trump’s administration to promote these goals.
President Trump has shown a strong understanding of the unique challenges faced by Hindu Americans, specifically addressing critical issues such as Hinduphobia, vandalism, and hate crimes. His recognition of these issues reaffirms his commitment to ensuring safety, respect, and support for all communities in the United States, including the Hindu community. Additionally, he has been outspoken on the maltreatment of Hindu, Christian, and other minority communities in regions like Bangladesh and has shown a willingness to address these concerns. Americans4Hindus also encourages him to consider the concerning treatment of Hindu communities in Canada and take a stand against this growing issue.
In addition to congratulating President-Elect Trump, Americans4Hindus celebrates the victory of all newly elected Congressional representatives, especially those endorsed by our organization. We are eager to expand the Hindu, Buddhist, Sikh, and Jain American Congressional Caucus, further strengthening our engagement in American democracy through the lens of Hindu values. “We’re excited to continue our mission to empower democracy with Hindu principles and values,” said Dr. Romesh Japra, Founder and Chairman of Americans4Hindus.
Americans4Hindus also calls on young Hindu Americans to take an active role in civic life through our initiative, the “Hindu Rajneeti Academy.” This program is designed to inspire participation in civic and public service and strengthen grassroots efforts to work closely with elected leaders. For more information or to join the Academy, please contact us at contact@americans4hindus.org.
Americans4Hindus remains committed to fostering a society that values inclusivity, respect, and unity for all Americans, while promoting Hindu values and contributing to America’s diverse cultural tapestry.
