FREMONT, CA: Americans4Hindus launched ‘Hindu Rajneeti Academy’ to focus on political education, enlightenment and empowerment on Sunday, April 28th at Fremont Hindu Temple. It is structured in a way that makes it easy to understand, follow and practice key principles of community services, leadership and politics. Its focus on empowering its members by taking them through an immersion series of 2 hours each weekend integrates policy knowledge, practical knowledge imparted by leaders in political and public service fields and logistical help that includes unearthing opportunities, providing operational and financial support for members to choose public service and get involved in community.

Hindu Rajneeti AcademyPolitical education and empowerment are crucial components of a healthy democracy, serving as the bedrock for informed citizenry and active participation in governance. Through political education, members gain a deeper understanding of the mechanisms of their political system, including the roles and responsibilities of different branches of government, electoral processes, and the significance of serving and gaining influence for community.

First session of Hindu Rajneeti academy received tremendous response, with over 50 enthusiastic youth and A4H (Americans4Hindus) members registered to embark on this journey.

Hindu Rajneeti AcademyFremont Councilmember Teresa Cox and Sunnyvale Councilmember Murali Srinivasan shared their journey to political leadership, what motivates them and, why it is important to have a voice and influence in policy-making circles.

Dr. Romesh Japra, Founder A4H said “Americans4Hindus strives to protect, promote and support Hindu Values by helping Hindu and Pro-Hindu voices in politics and policy making. It is critical for our community to participate and influence the narrative to ensure we are not discriminated and victims of neglect or worse just for being model citizens. The only way for that to happen is to ensure we have a seat at the policy making tables that affects our way of life.”

Hindu Rajneeti AcademyOn today’s complex political environment in USA, there are multiple political trends and views emerging. While opinions farther from bipartite moderate center are hardening more than ever, there is a huge divide appearing, driven by false narratives and extreme views on both sides of the spectrum. It often becomes confusing to discern who is aligned with what matters to us most.

Hindu Rajneeti AcademyHindu Rajneeti Academy will hold 2 hour educational and lecture series every week and support its members become more aware and participate in political process locally, statewide or at national level.
