FOG Telugu Ugadi Celebrations in Fremont Hindu temple was a grand success with full house of 1500+ audience, hosted and organized by Jo Sharma (Jyotsna) FOG Telugu Chairperson/FOG Cultural Chair and Arvind Kotha (FOG Telugu President) under the leadership of Dr. Japra (Founder of FOG/FIA).

The event was celebrated with festive decorations depicting festival theme, cultural competitions with 100+ dance groups/singing groups/art competitions/colorful Fashion Show walk with 75 people where audience also participated and enjoyed the festival celebrations and also participated in the M4M Movie Challenge contest.

Trophies were given to all the competition winners. Women’s Achievement Awards were honored to 30 women with customized plaques, and it was sponsored by the “M4M” (Motive for Murder) Movie (Bollywood/Tollywood). Vice Consul Ms. Himani Dhamija attended as chief guest, addressed the gathering and appreciated the authentic celebration, and conveyed Ugadi wishes.

Shweta Singh Kriti (Author/Thought Leader) received a Women Achievement Award, and she was honored as an honorary guest on stage. Hon Lien Councilwoman Milpitas, Teresa Cox Fremont City Council, were honored on the stage. Ruchika Sharma Social Secretary of Consulate supported the event.

Vice Consul Ms. Himani, along with Shweta Singh Kriti, were invited for authentic South Indian Lunch along with the FOG team along with 500+ people joined for lunch served with Ugadi special Pacchadi (soup), Tamarind Rice and all other dishes. Suneeta Bendapudi, Advocate Hyderabad High Court/Supreme Court, was honored with the Women’s Achievement Award and Appreciation. FOG President Rajesh Verma Ji, Vidya Sethuraman, Ritu Maheswari, FOG Telugu Vice President Abhilash Maroju, and FOG Telugu VPs Cultural Shubadha Ingole and Hemangini Vora, helped to execute the program.

FOG Telugu Leads Srini Gotte, Raghu, Nagendra, Suneeta, Phani, Varsha, Gauthami, Krishna, Srinivas and many other volunteers helped with the event.
