FREMONT, CA: It was an amazing colorful celebration of Asian Heritage Festival on Sunday, May 4th at Fremont Downtown Event Center. Asian Heritage Festival attracted 50+ Asian countries including India, Hong Kong, Tibet, Taiwan, Vietnam, and Philippines to show case their beautiful and vibrant culture. A packed Event center audience learned best of their culture, dances and music. A special India booth greeted visitors with a grand selection of Indian heritage and traditions. Festival goers had fun engaging and interacting with a multitude of Fremont elected officials and community leaders.

In his message, Dr. Romesh Japra, Founder Americans4Hindus said “It is critical for all Asian countries to form a coalition and work together to protect their culture and work toward influencing public policies and realize their community’s American dream”

Performances by Partner Organizations included, Midnight Vanette Band, I-Fly Young Chinese School, Katuri Dance Group of KASC League of Santa Clara, Wadaiko Newark, Friends of Children with Special Needs, Fremont Bank, Dragon Rhythm Shaolin Kung Fu Academy, Northwestern Chinese Association of America, MiFaSol Band, St. Elizabeth Dancing Queens, Thai Cultural Council of Fremont, Green Sound, Rhythm of India Dynamic Dancers and Anita Srivastava.
