CHICAGO: The meeting of Bhartiya Senior Citizens of Chicago(BSC) held on Saturday 29 2021 at Rana Reagan Hall to celebrate Mother’s Day and Gujarat Day
The program started with BSC Secretary Rakshika Anjaria rendering ‘Ganesh Vandana Prathana’. Gaurang Shukla sang Bhajan for those who died in the COVID Pandemic and in the hurricane.
The BSC President Haribhai warmly welcomed the all including musicians of Sa Re Gam Singer and said that we all see each other face to face after almost a year, all have been vaccinated and all It is very gratifying that the health is also good In the Corona epidemic in 2020-2021, our relatives and friends in India and other countries of the world have passed away. A tribute was paid to all of them by observing two minutes of silence.
Sa Re Ga Ma Pa’s Singer Hitesh Master, Nipa Shah, Parth Patel, Bhupendra Soni, Rita’s’ Gujarati Jalso ‘program’ Sahejadi Joi Nahi…, Hutu Tu Tu… and made all the members happy by doing Garba.
Finally, BSC President Shri Haribhai said that we all know that many of our friends may have lost a relative due to the severe drought and hurricane situation in India and Gujarat at present. But living here in the USA we are unable to share their grief. If not a flower, then a petal of a flower, if we can help something, then it is good for us. Also, we are all in the last phase of our senior life, so we can help our brothers and sisters living in India by raising funds and donations during the program. It is calculated to be sent to Gujarat. BSC Group also wants to provide an ‘ambulance’ in any city of Gujarat by giving a small donation from its own funds. So hopefully yoga will contribute.
At the request of many friends, planning a fundraiser is planned during the program. So we hope you will cooperate.
