TiE SoCal recently hosted its highly anticipated Charter Member Mixer at the stunning Laguna Beach property owned by Alan Desai and Neel Desai, proprietor of Desai Diversified Investments. The SoCal Angels is a network of successful Entrepreneurs, Professionals and Highly Educated individuals who are now turning their passion for Business in to investments and mentoring for next generation. The event, which took place on July 23, 2023, drew an impressive crowd of over 80 TIE attendees who gathered for networking, fostering connections, and building a strong sense of community.
The exclusive event, specifically tailored for TiE SoCal’s charter members, provided a unique opportunity for like-minded individuals to exchange ideas and strengthen professional relationships in the serene and picturesque beachside setting of Laguna Beach, CA, located at 1369 North Pacific Coast Highway.
The Charter Member Mixer commenced with an introduction by TIE President, Ashish Saboo, who warmly thanked Alan Desai for hosting the event and extended a warm welcome to all participants. During his address, Ashish Saboo shared insights into the various impactful activities carried out by TiE.
As the gracious host, Alan Desai expressed his gratitude to all the attendees and provided a brief overview of the fascinating history behind the Laguna Beach property. He revealed that the property, which took five years to complete, is now on the market for sale at a price of $32 million. The guests were also introduced to Hark Vasa, the COO of Popwhite, a company specializing in Oral Care and teeth whitening, utilizing their proprietary color-correcting technology. Hark Vasa shared the company’s tremendous growth, with expectations of reaching over $15 million in sales in just six years. Attendees were invited to explore an exciting investment opportunity in Popwhite and were offered a gift bag containing Popwhite products to try and learn more about the brand.
Adding to the evening’s enchantment, attendees were treated to a captivating musical performance by the renowned Dr. Kumar Chatterjee from India who has received Padma Vibhushan award from Prime Minister of India. His “Music to Meditation” was very much appreciated by attendees.
Following the delightful musical interlude, everyone indulged in a delectable lunch while relishing the breathtaking views of Laguna Beach, accompanied by influential entrepreneurs and business leaders from the TiE SoCal community.
Additionally, some guests took advantage of the opportunity to enjoy a Tour of Crescent Bay and Laguna Beach, further enhancing their experience at this unforgettable event.
