FIA donates to Hanover Township Food Pantry

CHICAGO: The Federation of Indian Associations Chicago, (FIA) along with its newly elected president Gurmeet Singh Dhalwan, founding members Neil Khot, Dhitu Bhagwakar, Ashwani Mahajan joint secretary and Vaishal Talati treasurer visited the Hanover township food pantry to donate for the holidays.

Mayor of Hanover Park Village, Rodney S. Craig, with his team, welcome all FIA members and to share the activities of the Hanover township food pantry.
This Pantry is taking care of 700 families with food and toys per month. Emergency food programs served by food pantries and soup kitchens in Hanover Park and surroundings. The food pantry is run by the government and by the donations. The members of FIA also offered their help and donations.

Supporting the pantry, the whole FIA team felt that the ’cause is excellent’ and they should also give back to help the community. FIA promised to continue to serve the community with many such upcoming events in the years ahead. Picture Courtesy by Adbhhut Media.
