Kangana Ranaut is one of the most sought-after actors in B-Town today.
When she isn’t working, Kangana often travels across the world to address audiences at various events. The latest such function was the Women In The World Summit that took place in London, UK, where she shared the stage with Meryl Streep and Nicole Kidman. “For someone like me, who comes from a small village, to be able to represent our country was a big achievement.
I was shivering before going on stage. I was teary-eyed and nervous. I didn’t know the questions they would ask me, so I chanted the Gayatri Mantra. I just went along with the conversation, and got a good response,” says Kangana.
Despite having a busy schedule, Kangana reveals that she manages to find time for herself. “I don’t read the news too often, or surf the Internet. Some people do that. I don’t know how much I’m being spoken about. Once a film’s promotions are done, I choose to lie low, and enjoy time with myself. When you work for 10 years, you can’t afford to be out there all the time. You need to go back, refuel, and then return. I like that approach,” she says.
