Steve Hilton receives community endorsement by Americans4Hindus at Fremont Hills reception hosted by Dr. Tae Yun Kim

FREMONT, CA: Community leaders, business owners, professionals, and residents gathered in Fremont Hills for a special reception hosted by Dr. Tae Yun Kim, Founder and Chairman of TYK Group, welcoming California gubernatorial candidate Steve Hilton. A highlight of the evening was the formal endorsement of Steve Hilton by Dr. Romesh Japra, Founder and Chairman of Americans4Hindus (A4H).

Steve Hilton shared his vision for restoring the California Dream, drawing on his experience as an immigrant and the son of Hungarian refugees. He addressed challenges facing California, including affordability, housing, education, and economic opportunity, while advocating for lower regulation, greater government efficiency, and policies that support families, workers, and entrepreneurs.

Throughout his speech, Hilton emphasized common-sense solutions and personal empowerment, often repeating the evening’s inspirational slogan:

“He can do, she can do, why not me!”

The slogan resonated strongly with attendees as a message of opportunity, determination, and individual achievement.

Speaking on behalf of Hindu Americans, Indian Americans, Asian Americans, and the broader community, Dr. Japra on behalf of Americans4Hindus announced a 100% endorsement of Steve Hilton for Governor of California candidacy. He mentioned that our community has achieved the California Dream and the American Dream, and we want to ensure future generations continue to have the same opportunities.

The endorsement was warmly received by attendees and reflected growing engagement among diverse communities in California’s 2026 gubernatorial race.

Following Steve Hilton’s remarks and Dr. Romesh Japra’s endorsement, attendees participated in a lively question-and-answer session covering California’s future, affordability, education, and government efficiency.

The evening also featured a VIP roundtable discussion, martial arts and self-defense demonstrations by senior martial artists, and community engagement activities. Guests joined in singing “Universal Heart,” a song written and composed by Dr. Tae Yun Kim that celebrates unity, hope, and community spirit.

The event concluded with a group photograph and cultural dinner featuring traditional Korean delicacies, showcasing the hospitality and cultural heritage of the evening’s host, Dr. Tae Yun Kim.
