The City of Angels transformed into a vibrant hub of unity and reflection as the Sant Nirankari Mission’s Centers for Oneness from across North America converged in Los Angeles for a series of inspiring events centered on the message of oneness.
The multi-day celebration began on June 24 with a heartfelt welcome for Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj and Nirankari Rajpita Ji. Families, children, youth, and volunteers filled the venue with joy, devotion, and excitement, setting a warm and uplifting tone for the days that followed.
The highlight of the series came on June 27 and 28 with two major public events, each drawing more than 2,000 attendees from Centers for Oneness across the continent and a diverse cross-section of Southern California communities. While many participated in both gatherings, each day also welcomed new attendees, creating two distinct yet interconnected expressions of the oneness theme.
Oneness Music and Food Festival
On Saturday, June 27, the Oneness Music and Food Festival brought the spirit of unity to life at a vibrant amphitheater setting. Guests entered a colorful global village adorned with international flags and regional pagodas representing Europe, Latin America, North America, Asia, and the Mediterranean.
Volunteers efficiently managed check-in and guest services, while a wide array of international cuisines offered a literal taste of oneness. Attendees enjoyed European breads and desserts, Indian street favorites like pani puri, Asian dishes such as chow-mein and Manchurian, veggie burgers, cultural beverages, and a special Oneness salad bar.
The stage program opened with an energetic, Olympics-inspired performance — a fitting tribute as Los Angeles prepares to host the upcoming Games — followed by a dynamic lineup of instrumental music, classical singing, rap, hip-hop, and culturally diverse dance performances. What began with seated applause soon evolved into a standing celebration, with the audience clapping, swaying, and fully immersed in the message of love, unity, and togetherness.
Oneness Convention: “Atam Manthan — The Journey Within”
The following day, June 28, the focus shifted to inner reflection at the historic United Theater on Broadway in downtown Los Angeles. The iconic venue, once associated with legends like Charlie Chaplin, Mary Pickford, Douglas Fairbanks, and D.W. Griffith provided a grand backdrop for the convention.
Attendees were greeted by the Sant Nirankari Mission’s message prominently displayed on the theater marquee. Inside, the elegant architecture and peaceful ambiance supported a powerful program centered on the theme “Atam Manthan — The Journey Within.”
In his discourse, Nirankari Rajpita Ramit Ji shared several timeless truths:
This world is a stage where we play many roles, but our true self remains beyond every performance.
Truth never imposes, never sells, and never speaks—yet we often fail to recognize it even when it is right in front of us.
Only by letting go of our beliefs, labels, and identities can we receive and recognize the Ultimate Truth.
Like a flower that spreads its fragrance silently without imposition, true realization reaches where it is meant. We should live without walls — embracing acceptance, coexistence, and oneness as one human family, free from superiority or division.
The program culminated with Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj’s divine discourse on Atam Manthan, guiding attendees toward deeper self-awareness, inner peace, and the empowering journey within.
Organizers described the two events as complementary expressions of the same vision: Saturday’s festival radiated energy, culture, and communal joy, while Sunday’s convention offered depth, stillness, and spiritual introspection.
The gatherings underscored the Sant Nirankari Mission’s global mission to foster unity beyond labels, languages, cultures, and backgrounds through love, selfless service, and the realization of humanity’s fundamental oneness.
