LOS ANGELES, CA: Women’s March Foundation met with overwhelming success of its Postcard Writing ACTION launched last month with over 100,000 postcards targeted to low propensity voters across the country.

These postcards are currently being customized by Warriors, encouraging voters to execute their right to vote come November 2 2020 The Postcard writing campaign has expanded the power of feminist movement and increased voter participation from East to West Coast, according to Cherry Hepburn, a WMF spokesperson

This success comes on the heels of another initiative by the Foundation in partnership with Vote Forward, called “The Big Send”, which launched on Thursday, April 30, 2020, asking members to write letters to voters, hold them and mail them out October 25th, just before Election Day.

Even in the COVID-19 environment, women are still leading the fight to Get Out The Vote! Other Women’s March Foundation Warriors have donated money for stamps to help Warriors who cannot afford such expenses.

Sending postcards has proven results: studies have shown that voters who receive a personal postcard in the mail are more likely to vote. It’s also an easy and fast way you can take action right from your home and help increase voter turnout across the country.
