CYPRESS, CA: Aryav Sheth, a third grade student from Margaret Landell Elementary School in Cypress, California has won first place in his age category for his submission in the 2018 International Aviation Art Contest. This year’s theme was “Flight into the Future.”

In December, Aryav won first place in his age group in the 28th Annual John Wayne Airport Student Art Contest. In February, he advanced to the state level contest where he took second place. He qualified to compete at the national level in March and earned second place, which enabled his artwork to be judged at the international level in Lucene, Switzerland, where he was awarded first place.

“I am very proud of Aryav,” said his third grade teacher Summer Etter. “He is a creative and well-rounded scholar!”

Aryav’s parents Apurva Sheth and Anvy Sheth said, “We are gratified by Aryav’s achievements and he has made us very proud. We are grateful to everyone who encouraged him and recognized his achievements because it goes a long way in shaping his future. We also like to take this opportunity to thank Ms. Radhika of Color My World Art Studio who has been Aryav’s art guru since his early childhood days.”

Apurva Sheth, his father, adds, “I also believe that a significant credit for Aryav’s success goes to his mother Anvy for her dedication, perseverance and support. She is the one who always encourages Aryav to pursue his passions and never lose sight of his goals. She is a supermom.”
