On this Gurupurnima, one of the most auspicious Indian Hindu Festival days, Anoopam Mission, a unique spiritual organization headquartered in Gujarat, India, presented a beautifully divine Shri Swaminarayan Temple to Norwalk, LA.
Sant Bhawant Sahebji, the divine Guruhari, consecrated the murtis of Bhagwan Shri Swaminarayan, Aksharbrahma Shri Gunatitanand Swami and Mahamukta Shri Gopalanand Swami through an elaborate Vedic ritual.
The consecration ceremony was attended by Ms. Ana Valencia, the Hon’ble Mayor of Norwalk, amongst other devotee dignitaries like the Florida-based celebrated businessmen Dr. Kiran C. Patel, Mr. B. U. Patel, Iowa-based scientist Dr. Virendra Patel, Sydney-based devotee professional Mr. Dipen Rughani, UK-based devotees and business tycoons Mr. Satish Chatwani and Mr. Vijay Thakker along with hundreds of devotees from across the world including the US.
Prior to the Vedic ritual of the consecration of the deities, about three hundred couples offered a Maha Yagna.
The four-day festivities also included celebrations of Gurupurnima Puja festival and commemoration of the Golden Jubilee of Global Spiritual Pilgrimage by Sant Bhagwant Sahebji – the divine Guruhari and the founder of Anopam Mission.
