PALATINE: In a meeting held on December 14, Punjabi Cultural Society of Chicago (PCS) Officials formed their working board for the year 2015.
Vick Singh, a resident of Long Grove, Illinois, was unanimously elected as the 2015 President. Vick Singh has been serving on the PCS board of directors for several years, his current position being the Finance Director.
An electrical engineer by formal education, Vick took to real estate as a profession and business after his family immigrated to Chicago area from Haryana, India. Vick Singh has over 25 years of experience in real estate sales, management, appraisal, finance and investments. Vick is happily married with two children Ruby Kaur and Ryan Singh.
Amrit Pal Singh Sangha was nominated as the Honorary Chairman of PCS for 2015. Other directors on the 2015 PCS board as elected are, Gurmit Singh Dhillon Vice President, Bikram Singh Chohan Executive Secretary, Surinder Singh Palia Finance Secretary, Manjeet Singh Bhalla Sports Director, Parvinder Singh Nanua Youth Director, Rao Barinder Singh (Robin) Ghotra Inter-Community Director, Gagandeep Singh Multani Inter-Community Director.
“PCS is slowly passing the baton to the next generation by grooming, mentoring and including the youth in the working board,” said Rajinder Singh Mago, PCS Board of Governors.
PCS is a non-profit all volunteer community service organization devoted to promoting Punjabi culture, performing arts, education, sports, and good citizenship in the Chicago Metropolitan area and beyond.
