CHICAGO: Bhartiya Senior Citizens of Chicago celebrated Valentine’s Day on Feb16 at Shrinadudhthji Haveli in Addison, IL. More then 300 members and invited guests participated in the event.
The program began with Ganesh Vandana sung by professional singer Shaila Khedkar and Anish Kadiwala. Committee member Kalyani Patel gave the program summary. Secretary of BSC Pursottam Pandya introduced the guests and sponsor. The event president is a well known photographer Jayanti Oza. He and Kala Oza welcomed the invited guest Nimesh Jani who is slated to run as a candidate for Schaumburg Township Trustee.
Chairperson of BSC Nalinkanth Shukla gave the introduction about candidate and offered thanks to Vinod Rami of New York Life who presents over 200 flowers every year on Valentine’s Day to Bhartiya Senior Citizens of Chicago.
Shaila Khedkar and Anish Kadiwala sang old Bollywood hits for the seniors. The senior citizens enjoyed by dancing. Haribhai Patel, the BSC President presented compliments and congratulations befitting the Valentine’s Day Celebration and gave information about a future Europe Tour. At the end, all those present enjoyed delicious dinner of Dudh Pak puree.
