DALLAS, TX: Surati Leuva Patidar Samaj (SLPS), a Dallas based community oriented non-profit body, organized an informative and entertainment event on October 23 at the SLPS Cultural Center.
The prime objective was to promote Breast Cancer Awareness among women. The program included speeches by oncologists and experiences of victims of breast cancer within the community. The event was organized and sponsored in collaboration with Aastha Charities.
SLPS Aastha Charities’ mission is to give hope for a better tomorrow by providing charitable assistance to those in need with focus on educational services, health awareness, disaster relief and community empowerment.
The informative and awareness talk was followed by dinner and Garbas. It was interesting to note that most ladies wore pink sarees.
