FREMONT: The Federation of Indo Americans of Northern California in association with India Post news weekly had their annual “New Year party” on December 31, 2013 at San Jose Airport Garden Hotel, San Jose. The party was themed “Unforgettable New Year’s Eve” and was the most successful event in Bay area.
The evening festivities were attended by over 700 people all over the Bay who welcomed their New Year with style and pomp. India Post, leading newsweekly serving the Bay area from 1994, is a one stop for National and International news. The event was organized by FIA, Japra Inner circle, India Post, Nurture kids with Women Now TV being the entertainment partner. The evening started off with a strong social message from Dr. Romesh Japra, President, India Post and eminent social activist of Bay area.
He spoke at length about the laudable events of 2013 and the events to happen in 2014.
Nonstop entertainment started off with Harjit Mehndi’s power packed rendition of hit Bollywood numbers. It was followed by Bridal fashion show by Vama designs. At the stroke of midnight, JIC members and other guests welcomed 2014 in style and wished prosperity for all. Dr. Japra thanked Swagat, DJ Suresh, Eve decor, Women Now TV and Vama designs for their contribution. India Post wishes its readers “Happy and Prosperous New Year, 2014”.
