Alderwoman Debra Silverstein celebrates victory

CHICAGO: Must have been the draining campaign, topped by the flush of a fabulous victory! But for once, 50th ward Alderwomen Debra Silverstein’s famous composure cracked, and she thanked her team of volunteers and staff for their outstanding work that has given her this chance to serve and get closer to various ethnic communities at a recently held dinner at Candelite Restaurant in Chicago
The celebration started at 6 pm with prominent members of various communities gathering and sharing their happiness with Ald Debra. They were treated to scrumptious dinner served by Candelite Restaurant.
Addressing the well represented party State Senator Ira Silverstein, thanked everyone saying “it is the hard work and sacrifice that thrive in a prosperous and glowing victory which in true sense is a victory of vibrant community of 50th ward.” Silverstein also tickled everyone with his hilarious notes.
Another such stirring remark was given by Alderwoman Debra Silverstein. She thanked her supporters for standing with her in accomplishing many important goals and milestones including fixing the potholes, repaving streets, infrastructural upgrades and, more importantly, to significantly revamping the constituent services by instituting an ‘open door’ policy for various vibrant communities of 50th ward.
Debra then assured everyone with stability and peace in her tenure of serving and said that she is looking forward to continuing to work with all of her fellow leaders to address the serious challenges that they face together in this very vibrant 50th ward.
The celebration culminated with Debra supporters thanking her for new vigor, energy, ideas and refreshing leadership that have significantly revitalized Chicago’s 50th ward.
