After appearing in commercials in Mumbai, Manish Pal is all set to find quality acting and commercial work here in Los Angeles.
Originally from New Delhi, Manish went through theater training with Barry John at his acting school. It was a rigorous program for 3-months where students were exposed to all kinds of acting skills.
Barry John has been a mentor to Shahrukh Khan and Manoj Bajpai.
Based in Delhi, Manish did whatever came his way from hosting game shows to doing live TV Doordarshan, which still has a large audience.He also appeared in TV serials for DOORDARSHAN, notable of them was a famous TV show ‘School Days’ directed by Dilip Sood for a couple of episodes.
At the recommendations of a Production Coordinator he also auditioned for a crossover Punjabi Film, Kambadi Kalai in New Delhi and bagged the role of character “ROOP”which was really liked and appreciated by the audience.The film was based on one’s commitment to faith and religion.Though he was very nervous to do the role since he does not speak Punjabi fluently but as you say practice makes a man perfect, he was able to pull off the role. Kambadi Kalai was an international project directed by Ish Amitoj Kaur who is a famous director in Fremont California known for famous Punjabi film Cheeva Dariya.The film was screened at various film festivals here in the USA.
To find more opportunities he moved to Mumbai and appeared in TV commercials for Religare Mutual Fund, Fortune Oil,AirTel Sunday Indian News Magazine, to name a few. These commercials appeared on all top Indian TVchannels.
Manish also appeared in TV episodes for ZOOM TV for “Crime and Bollywood “.
After moving to California in 2011, Manish took time to establish a successful medical business as he knew the field of acting without enough work can be frustrating and people should always have a backup plan.
He is in touch with crossover film directors in LA regarding some projects and he is hopeful something should materialize
